100 Books

So a friend of our’s has set an insane goal of attempting to read 50 books by the end of the year.

Since both of us Ski’s think this is an outstanding goal, and totally doable, we’re going to copy her and set it for ourselves! But with a hitch, the two of us are going to shoot for 100 (read one hundred) books! (That’s basically 1 book a week for each of us!)

Watch our progress as time goes on by glancing at this post from time to time. Also, as we’ve basically read every Cold War (boyski) and Mountaineering (girlski) book there is to read, feel free to give us suggestions on books to keep our drive alive!

And Baker — thanks for the great idea!!!

  1. Nice job, you two! I’m, um, a little behind. But I will catch it up as soon as I can finish my thesis this spring.

  2. Yeah, grad school seems to be working against me as I’d think about this neat goal. I would like to, but I’m slated to finish school in 2009 methinks.

Dang, Chuck is cleaning up! I need to get my butt in gear to catch up to him!

Now I know why Chuck never has time for me. He’s a reading machine.

you didn’t read “what went wrong”…. you can’t take books that you’ve read before and pass them off like you read them this year!

Anonymous must be my wife Sara. Yes I reread the book. I read that book back in 98. But fine I’ll read another one since that 10 year hiatus doesn’t count.

  7. Hey you two! Wanna have a contest in 2009 to see who can read more books? I ended at 39 last year…

  8. Whoops, I only read 38.
